Final Concert of the 26th International Music Festival Young Prague

On Sunday, September 24, 2017, the final concert of the 26th International Music Festival Young Prague was held at the Dvořák Hall of the Rudolfinum in Prague, with the participation of chairperson of the Kolowrátek Endowment Fund board of directors, Mrs. JUDr. Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowska and Mgr. Eliška Barthelemy, member of the Kolowrátek Endowment Fund board.

The concert program included: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Bohuslav Martinů, Zoltan Kodaly and Petr Iljic Tchaikovsky, performed by the excellent young soloists Anna Fürjes (soprano), Clarisse Moreau (oboe), Hana Chang (violin), Takumi Inagaki (piano), and accompanied by the National Theater Orchestra and conductor Jakub Pikla. The festival was held under the patronage of Mr. Jaroslav Kuber, 1st Vice-Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic.

The goal of the Young Prague program is to support young artists, to facilitate the beginnings of their artistic career, and to enable them to make friends with young musicians from all over the world. Supporting talented children and teenagers is one of the missions of the KOLOWRÁTEK Endowment Fund of Maximilian, Francesca and Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowsky. Therefore, the Endowment Fund has now been supporting the Music Festival for the seventh consecutive year.
