Veteran cars ride honoured the memory of Earl Leopold Filip Kolowrat-Krakowský

Veteran cars lovers came together on Saturday 28th of September in Český les for the traditional St. Kryštof´s ride. Teams on 37 motorcycles and in 33 historical cars made their way through the Kolowrat estate and thanks to great weather it was certainly an unforgettable experience for everybody involved. The route totalled fifty kilometres and led from Rozvadov, via Diana, Železná and then to the German border in Lindau. The destination was the village Rybník.

Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowská attended the premier of the opera Toufar

JUDr. Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowská attended the gala premiere of Aleš Březina´s opera directed by Petr Zelenka in Kolowrat Theatre. After the performance she presented the star of the evening, Ms. Soňa Červená, with flowers. JUDr. Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowská met the other performers and the staging team for a social toast in the theatre club in Kolowrat Palace. Other celebrities and public figures were also in attendance.

Kolowrat-Krakowský go back to the historical form of their name

JUDr. Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowská, Maximilian Kolowrat-Krakowský and Francesca Kolowrat-Krakowská have decided to bring the sound of their last name into keeping with the historical tradition of the family name. The correct orthography of the name includes two „w’s“. Due to the negligence of state officials during the establishment of the Communist regime, the name was constantly stated inaccurately as Kolowrat-Krakovský and that was the form which the registry offices used in 1989.

Francesca Kolowrat-Krakowská became The Champion of Czech Republic in Younger Juniors

On the weekend of the 10th-11th August in the town of Martinec, Příbram the Czech Republic Parkour Championship in the category of juniors took place. The colours of the Kolowrat Riding Club were worn by Francesca Kolowrat-Krakowska on the horses Calista-T and Tarola-D. She performed amazingly and celebrated her 15th birthday with the perfect present - the gold medal!

Dominika Kolowrat-Krakovska attended the final premier season at Stavovsky Theatre

At a social event at the Kolowrat Palace Ms Kolowrat-Krakovská shared her experiences from her charity projects with Mrs Dagmar Havlová-Veškrnová. In amongst all the guests she managed to greet the busy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Karel Schwarzenberg, and to give her thoughts on the performance with the director of production Dušan D. Pařízek and lead performer, Vladimír Javorský.

The Drive of Sasa Kolowrat is already in its thirteenth year

Just as last year the procession of classic cars took place in Tachovsko. The Drive of Sasa Kolowrat took place in Přimda and the surrounding Czech and German towns on Saturday 15th June 2013. The sound of engines and the smell of petrol engulfed Přimda for the thirteenth time in honour of Alexandr “Saša” Kolowrat-Krakowsky. This year served also as a remembrance, as it would have been the 70th birthday of Saša’s nephew: the notable benefactor Frantisek Tomáš Kolowrat-Krakowský.

Mrs. Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowska on the Christmas gathering of Paraple Centre

Mrs. Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowska, the Chairperson of the Endowment fund Kolowratek, attended the traditional pre-Christmas gathering of the Paraple Centre. Mr. Zdeněk Svěrák thanked her for her repeated financial support. Guests entered into the Christmas spirit by singing carols accompanied by Jaroslav Uhlíř on the piano. The program was enriched by a children’s art workshop and dance performance.
