An invitation to the Lucerna cinema

On the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Joseph, Count Kolowrat-Krakowsky, the large hall of the Lucerna cinema will be showing his three most famous films: 12 Sep The Moon of Israel, 21 Sep Café Elektric and 29 Sep Sodom and Gomorrah.

Film screenings will be accompanied by sales of the book “Benzin & celuloid”, in which author Richard Pecha brought together a host of factual data from the life of the remarkable Sascha Kolowrat. The book contains 280 reproductions of period photographs and printed matter, 20 original illustrations and a photo-story based on the last film production by Sascha-Film, “Café Elektric”.

The ‘Petrol & Celluloid’ book is published by Kolowratovy domy s.r.o. and distributed by Kosmas s.r.o.

The book will be sold at each of the screenings for a discounted price of 250 CZK.

The book launch christening ceremony will be held immediately before the first screening on 12 Sept and the ‘godfathers’ of the book will be Maximilian Alexander Kolowrat-Krakowsky, Francesca Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowsky and JUDr. Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowsky.

Tickets are routinely available in advance at Ticketware s.r.o. or direct at the Lantern cinema box-office prior to the screening.
