The Kolowrat forest’s Hunters´ Ball helped Children´s home in Tachov

Second annual Hunters´ Ball, organized by The Kolowrat forests employees, took place on Friday, 15th of November 2013 in the hall of former school in Přimda. The goal was not only to have a good time, but mainly to help a good cause. Takings from ticket sales, raffle tickets and auction of moufflon went through The Kolowrátek Endowment fund to the benefit of Children´s home in Tachov.

„Last year´s inaugural ball worked out brilliantly and we do believe that this year we will raise a considerable amount of money,“ JUDr. Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowská said. Even before the evening was over she awarded Mr. Zdeněk Kropáč, Children´s home director, with a check for 30.000 crowns. And, it was clear at that moment that there will be considerably more money. Incredible amount of 90.000 Crowns was collected at the end! „We are really excited with the amount of takings, I must admit that we didn´t expect so much money,“ Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowská sums up. „This donation should go to leisure activities for children, such as various activity clubs, trips, stays in the mountains and the like,“ she revealed. Children´s home in Tachov has a regular sponsors and The Kolowrat forests belong to the biggest of them.

After the official part was finished, the ball continued with free dance entertainment led by musical band Music. Everybody also enjoyed the performance of Zuzana Holáková, 15 years old singer and member of Children´s home in Tachov. This talented young lady managed to pass the entry exam to Prague international conservatoire, but eventually decided not to start her studies. The main prizes of the raffle mentioned above was petrol grass mower John Deere, precious glass decanter, wild boar, dear fawns, sika dear does or baby moufflon. The program ran until late night hours and everybody is looking forward to next year already.
