The Kolowrátek Endowment Fund Celebrated its 10th Anniversary with a Gamekeeper’s Ball at Přimda

On Friday, November 16, 2018, employees of the Kolowrat Forests organized the 7th year of the gamekeeper’s benefit ball at Přimda. The evening was ceremonially kicked off by the sharpshooters of Stříbro, by a shooting off of historical weapons and followed the performance of a sabrage for everyone present, an unconventional way of opening a bottle of champagne using saber. The Trumpeters of the Kolowrat forests provided entertainment throughout the ball by playing the French horns, and also performing game hunting compositions, fanfares and signals.

The ball was ceremonially initiated by JUDr. Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowská and Head of the Kolowrat Forest Administration, Ing. Vladimír Šístek with a toast to celebrate the 10th Jubilee anniversary of the founding of the Kolowrátek Endowment Fund and 100 years since the founding of Czechoslovakia, and together they wished all those present a blessed upcoming advent.

Mrs. Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowská, JUDr., and Eliška Barthelemy, Mgr. (a member of the Board of Directors of the Kolowrátek Endowment Fund) introduced the Fund’s mission, as the main patron of the Children's Home in Tachov, to the attending guests. Through the Fund, part of the proceeds from the ball will be donated to supporting the leisure activities at the Children's Home.

The rich cultural program was enlivened with a performance by the Kaštánek folk group, from the Children's Home in Tachov. Musical accompaniment to the evening was also provided by the group Music. A generous raffle was prepared for all those present, crowned with the charity auction of a sika deer and mouflon hunt.
