Francesca Kolowrat-Krakowská successful in Kreuth

Junior rider Francesca Kolowrat-Krakowská set off to German Kreuth on November 21st until 24th. She participated in international showjumping event CSI** with three horses and returned home satisfied with placings at the top.

The rider placed best at friday´s competition in the saddle of chestnut mare Nobilis. The pair was very close second in Silver Tour competition with obstacles up to 125 centimeters, when they were just 0,16 seconds slower than the winner. Francesca with Nobilis did very well on Saturday as well. Convincing performance of penalty free ride brought them fifth place. And, because their ride was penalty free even on Thursday, for this pair there was no knock-down in Kreuth.

Francesca competed in the same competitions with horse Stakko as well and in competitions one level higher with her championship mare Calista- T. And, Francesca can by rightfully proud of her performance on last event of the season. There was no penalty points for her and Calista in any of the first rounds. There was only one knock-down in Sunday´s jump- off. The obstacles in the first round were up to 140cm, and for the jump-off they were even 10 cm higher.

The result of four penalty points was enough for decorated place and Francesca received prize for very nice thirteenth place. She was the best placed Czech rider because the other three representatives did not qualify for the jump-off. „I am really very happy. It was our first 140 together and we managed clear round! I really did not expect it. I was really happy with Calista, as well as with Nobilis. I am exhilarated,“ Francesca Kolowrat-Krakowská summed up. „The course designer did not spare us and everything was up to full measures. I really liked it though. The courses were well designed and competitions took place in large indoor arena,“ she added.

Francesca Kolowrat-Krakowská successfully ended the season 2013 with event in Kreuth. With two horses out of three, she managed to clear all first rounds in courses with obstacles 125 – 140 cm high with no penalty points and she placed twice in top five.
